Do you have any further questions about the PostFinance customer information?

Why do I, as a PostFinance customer, receive information about Belsura?

PostFinance is focusing more closely on its core business and is withdrawing from property insurance. In future, PostFinance will no longer offer car, motorcycle, travel and legal protection insurance.

For you, the most important thing remains the same: your insurance benefits.
TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG, which is already responsible for support and processing, will remain your contractual partner. From 1 July 2026, TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG will continue to offer its existing services under its own brand, “Belsura”.

Who is behind Belsura?

Belsura is a registered trademark of TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG. As an innovative Zurich-based InsurTech company, TONI develops digital insurance solutions that combine modern technology with Swiss standards of quality and service.

What will change for me with Belsura?

Nothing will change for you. Your existing insurance cover and customer support will remain unchanged. Our trusted insurance partners will also continue to act as your risk carriers in the event of a claim or breakdown, and will provide expert advice on any queries you may have, just as they have done in the past.

The only change will be that your policy will feature the Belsura design when it is next renewed.

As a PostFinance insurance customer, do I need to take any action due to the rebranding to Belsura?

As an insurance customer, you do not need to take any action. Your existing insurance cover and customer service will remain unchanged. Our trusted insurance partners will continue to act as your insurer in the event of a claim or breakdown, and will provide expert advice on any queries you may have.

For customers with a number plate, there is therefore no need to make any changes to your vehicle registration document. Your vehicle will continue to be registered with the same insurer.

Your policy and premium invoice will be the only changes to reflect the Belsura design when your policy is next renewed or amended.

Is there a new point of contact for customer enquiries?

No, your usual points of contact and services will remain the same. TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG is already handling the administration of your policy, your personal support and claims settlement.

Will my insurance cover and my existing documents remain valid?

Will my premium for this year stay the same?

Your current annual premium will remain unchanged and will continue to be based on the existing terms and conditions of the contract.

I have already reported a claim to PostFinance Insurance. Will this continue to be processed, or do I need to contact Belsura?

Any claim that has already been opened will, of course, continue to be processed. In addition, TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG will also handle personalised support for customer enquiries and claims settlement at Belsura. This means there will be no interruption to existing services.

What happens in the event of a cancellation or an outstanding invoice from PostFinance Insurance?

Any refunds, e.g. following contract cancellation with a repayment, will continue to be paid to you. The switch to Belsura has no effect on this.

What will happen to my PostFinance eBill invoice?

Unfortunately, Belsura does currently not offer the option to pay invoices via eBill. Please note that you must pay your next premium invoice using the QR invoice in your Belsura Mail so that your insurance cover remains active for the following period.

Will switching to Belsura change anything about my bill?

Please note that the payee for your QR bill will be TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG in future. The brand name “PostFinance Insurance” will no longer appear in the reference field.

What will happen to my data at PostFinance?

PostFinance will delete your data from all applications managed by PostFinance. This includes PostFinance E-Finance and the PostFinance app. For this reason, your insurance details will no longer be visible in E-Finance or in the app.
